Keep your kitchen knives sharp with this maintenance stone from the Messermeister brand, this stone has grit of 1000/3000. The sharpening stone has two sides, so you can get any knife sharp in two steps. The 1000 grit side is meant to sharpen the knife, to get the blunter parts sharp again and to grind small burrs out of the knife. You use this side first. When the knife is sharp again you can polish the blade with the 3000 grit on the other side of the sharpening stone. You hold the knife at the correct sharpening angle and sharpen the knife in two steps for a razor-sharp result! In short , this stone offers a complete solution to maintain the sharpest kitchen knives at an affordable price.
