The Special Edition - 7 Layers Damask - Kiritsuke knife from Shinrai Japan is designed as a versatile knife for preparing Asian dishes. This is done by combining the blade of a nakiri (vegetable knife) and sujihiki (fish knife). The inverted tanto profile of the kiritsuke makes the point highly maneuverable for fine carving, but also vulnerable. This knife is therefore not suitable for cutting bones and bones. This knife is not only functional, but also a real eye-catcher in your kitchen due to the uniquely finished handle.

This special edition of the 7 Layers Damask is finished to perfection. The Japanese damask steel blade continues in a bolster of black wood, this bolster has been compressed under extremely high pressure. The bolster runs into a hardwood handle. The back of the knife is again made by the same black wood. The black bolster and the black end are separated by 2 brass rings. This composition of this knife ensures a unique and beautiful composition.
